Tale of Absheron: Anar Huseynzada

Gazelli Art House, Baku presents a solo exhibition by Anar Huseynzada, Tale of Absheron, reflecting the artist's personal life and family history. Previously shown in  Austria, France and Luxemburg, Tale of Absheron will now be exhibited in Baku.

Each of Anar's paintings is modern in execution but incorporates traditional elements, such as elaborate patterns and ornaments. 

The exhibition reflects Anar’s admiration of oriental literature; particularly the works of Nizami, Nasimi and Fuzuli. Inspiration from these great philosophical writers is evident in Anar’s canvases which are imbued with the essence of mystical places shrouded in legends and ancient tales.
