Yaffa Collection Is a visually inspired collection of works that takes on it subjects from old photos capturing the many vast elements of our rich heritage like architecture, landscape or craft and translates them into embroidered body of work to tell these stories. Acre is a very old port, surrounded by walls that resisted the invaders. Acre is a populated city with abundant water resources. It has been mentioned in Pharaonic records since the 19th century BC and has been known as a Canaanite city since the second millennium BC. It’s people resisted invaders bravely, and King David or Napoleon could not conquer it. When the invaders occupied it, they destroyed the town and massacred its inhabitants.
