Recycle Group, winner of the Special Prize OPEN, presents the work ONLINE during the 19th edition of the International Exhibition of Sculptures and Installations that takes palce at Hilton Molino Stucky in Venice frm 2nd September to 2nd October.

OPEN ia an exhibition conceived and curated by Paolo De Grandis, co-curated by Carlotta Scarpa and organised by PDG Arte Communications with the patronage of the Ministry for Cultural Assets and Activities and Tourism and by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Recycle Group consists of Andrey Blokhin and Georgy Kuznetsov, two contemporary artists who work primarily with industrial mediums such as acrylic, plastic mesh, and polyurethane rubber. As their name suggests, the duo is concerned about the rising level of material waste as a byproduct of widespread consumerism.

The exhibition presents, in addition to the installation of the artists selected at the 10th Arte Laguna Prize, also 13 other artists who explore the dialogue between works of art and space.

During the exhibition, the Special Prize Arte Laguna will be awarded to one of the young artists on view.
