Wooyang Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea
Jane’s exhibition at the Wooyang Museum of Contemporary Art is her first exhibition in Korea. Visitors can enjoy works she has done with clay, bronze, drawing, video, and in installations. Through observing these diverse works all located in one place, it is possible for visitors to get an overview of the last 20-years of Jane’s artistic career and psychoanalytic perceptions. In addition, as a way of showing a parallel between her studio and her great-grandfather Sigmund Freud’s office, we brought the objects she usually keeps in her studio to the Wooyang museum. Altogether this exhibition presents 90 of Jane’s artworks, including 5 new ones, and represents a synthesis between a semi-retrospective and a private exhibition.
