The travelling exhibition Creative Machines is currently displayed at the Taikang Art Museum, after debuting in London in 2014. The exhibit studies themes surrounding emerging technologies such as AI, robotics, and computer art and how they fundamentally reshape creativity, artistic practices and the evolving boundary between human and machine-generated art. Concurrently, the exhibition casts a glance to the past and the evolution of digital ideas and practices in art, displaying the works of Harold Cohen, a pioneer of digital art.
The exhibition is curated by our exhibiting artist William Latham, along with Tang Xin and Zhou Yi.
