Gazelli Art House Baku presents Liquid Time, part of the international festival Fly to Baku. Art Weekend. Sense the Future NOW, a dialogue between art, culture, and ecology. The exhibition is accompanied by an artist talk titled Gathering Storms and Shifting Seas: new horizons in art, ecology, and technology.
The exhibition brings together Azerbaijani and international artists exploring water’s physical, poetic, and political dimensions. Through diverse media, the works reflect on water as a symbol of continuity, transformation, and memory. Artists such as Jala Aziz, Rashad Babayev, Butunay Hagverdiyev, Aziz + Cucher, Eldar Gurban, Hyo Myoung Kim, and Giovanni Ozzola interpret liquidity as a metaphor for identity, emotion, and change. Visitors can also experience Quantum Tango (2025) by British pioneer Ernest Edmonds, connecting audiences in Baku, London, and Leicester through interactive digital systems that use quantum computer logic to create an ever-changing visual dialogue, merging technology, movement, and human connection in real time.
