Aziz + Cucher is currently being featured at Centre National de l’Audiovisuel in Luxembourg in the exhibition titled, Facets of Humanity: Works from the Teutloff Collection. The exhibition includes some of their earliest works found in the collection of contemporary art collector, Lutz Teutloff. As a particular champion of photography, Teutloff was fascinated by its ability to depict human existence in all its stages and emotions.
In Facets of Humanity, the works reflect its core concept of depicting the human condition – the entire spectrum of human existence from birth to death and beyond. The photographs offer a new reflection on themes such as family, childhood and social identity, highlighting the transformation of traditional expectations in a modern society.
