We are thrilled to present Libby Heaney’s Ent- (non-earthly delights) at Frieze Sculpture 2024, a major new installation that merges large-scale sculpture with augmented reality (AR) to explore the transformative potentials and pitfalls of quantum computing. This latest iteration of Heaney’s Ent- project (2022–ongoing) continues her exploration of Hieronymus Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights, reflecting on both the promise and perils of our quantum future. Through her striking fusion of quantum cyborgs with classical and prehistoric forms, Heaney engages visitors in a dialogue about the dualities of technological progress and human experience.
