We were delighted to host Primavera De Filippi, January Resident at GAZELL.iO, for a talk at Gazelli Art House, London. The Art of Mancy: Breathing Life into Technology with Plantoids, Animals, and Other Blockchain-based Lifeforms covered how new technologies, like blockchain and AI, are enabling artists to create not just simple art pieces but art pieces that are coming into "life", albeit with a different definition of life than what we use for organic life. Life as the ability to be autonomous (operationally or decisionally), self-sustainable, and be able to evolve and reproduce.
