"Mourning and the Middle East Objects"
These objects were inspired by a trip to the Middle East in Spring 2012 to run some workshops sponsored by Friends of the Earth Middle East. This came shortly after a major loss for me but it was also evident that there were great echoes of loss and mourning on a universal level in Israel, Palestine and Jordan.
Sculpture combination of building and human, a sort of 'humding', half man, half building, an edifice turned edi-face, but always with the face (of the otehr) in mind: U (you).
