We are delighted to announce that Jane McAdam Freud will be participating in the V & A’s upcoming exhibition Facing History. The exhibition features a variety of portraits by contemporary artists and photographers, from Julian Opie , Grayson Perry and Alison Lambert to Bettina von Zwehl and Maud Sulter.
The display shows how these artists have been inspired by earlier modes of portraiture such as silhouettes, portrait miniatures, medals, Old Master paintings, and 19th-century photographs. The exhibition will run from 27 July 2015 – 26 February 2016.
