Gazelli Art House is glad to announce Iain Nicholls taking part in Royal Watercolour Society‘s exhibition “Shakespeare: A Celebration”.
The painting “Exits and Entrances: Oberon Crescent and Tempest Avenue” is acrylic and ink on paper (60×55 cm). The work is the artist’s interpretation of a poem written by Ian McMillan, especially for the show, connecting the two streets they live on in Darfield (their home village), which happen to be named after Shakespearian themes – Oberon Crescent and Tempest Avenue, and to be the only two streets with Shakespearian names in the village.
