Jane McAdam Freud will be featured in the third of the Art and Uncanny Cycle series in Milan with her solo show, The Impossible Self-Portrait: Freud’s Study Merge.
McAdam Freud transforms the space of CE Contemporary gallery to evoke “Freud’s study”. The installation creates a dialogue between past and present, while blurring the lines between presence and absence. In doing so, McAdam Freud creates a striking relationship between the antiquities collected by her great-grandfather, Sigmund Freud, and the works of the artist herself.
The exhibition, opening at 6:30pm on Tuesday 28th of November, will last until 22nd April 2018.
