Fakhriyya Mammadova’s ‘Transformation’ revolves around a woman who combines all the manifestations of nature and existence. Here a woman’s body is in its most natural – naked form. She goes through each of the elements outlining the four stages of creation – fire, water, wind and earth and retains her power in these processes, by being and becoming one with them. Here the artist makes an attempt to demonstrate that a woman is the source of life, love and beauty.
