A man indistinguishable in the landscape, a larger landscape, getting closer on him, his shapes and energy stand out, he is the center in that specific moment, in that specific place. The man faces the ocean and speaks to it. His native language is a whistle. A flow of air coming out from him that melts into the wind, merges with the landscape. Nature and man become one thing, again. Te video was shot in Añaza controversial municipality on the outskirt of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Being a vast aboriginal area, Guanche's archaeological site was declared Heritage of Cultural Interest even though has been brutally urbanized in the past few decades. Te Gomeran whistle is an archaic but still used language on a remote island of the Atlantic Ocean, la Gomera. Since 2009 it was declared as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

Dark night, heart full of fear,
the horizon doesn’t get any closer
‘cause It isn’t running any further.

To see, once more, in the distance,
    the salt on the skin;
all the silence fits in a glance.
Feeling the nearness of a soul,
    of salted lips and words.

    Don’t know why you left,
don’t know if you are coming or going away.

The same wind drags apart and brings back
and it’s impossible to look anymore,
    but things can be seen
    breathing the horizon, the world,
among the waves on the sea.

I wouldn’t like to get lost,
    not today.
You are the one that moves, but I’m the one that leaves.

Paths go deep in time, blinded
    towards a reencounter. Where?
    Emptied slowly in each breath
over the invisible bed of the present.
    Open eyes, loneliness
    alone.

A silent ship that left at dawn
    moves away leaping and dissolves
    among other orange thoughts.
Sand, my sweet and beloved sand.

    When you are not looking
    dreams look back,
    kisses
    break the morning and night.

Everything is in the wind for ages hence
    in one sole path.
    The same wind
    in an infinite message
    towards the ocean.

Text by Jorge Dìaz de Losada and Giovanni Ozzola

Filming sound recording editing: Dimas Jesus Cedres Martin and Giovanni Ozzola
