ScanLAB’s primary medium is 3D scanning, a form of machine vision that they argue is the future of photography and spatial representation. In the 1870’s Eadweard Muybridge took to Yosemite to test his pioneering photographic techniques. ScanLAB Projects re-enacted these expeditions through Post-lenticular Landscapes, equipped with the very latest technology.⠀

This immense amount of detail often allows for surprising discoveries and points of view, which are almost impossible to achieve with a traditional camera or phone. ⠀
