Zero Gravity series (Joseph Beuys in space):
The series touches very deep and important human issues like social influence or points of attraction. Markus’s obsession with space has nothing to do with rockets or aliens, this is all about the interrelationship between different cosmic objects and masses.
Mama “Why do you like weightlessness so much? It gives no chance to run or jump”
Markus “I can hardly run or jump in general, but when you are in zero gravity there is nothing influencing you, nothing weighs you down”
From birth to our last days we all feel not only gravitational pressure but also societal pressure. There is no guarantee that any of us is born in perfect surroundings. And one can hardly say how much social pressure changes us. How far are we from our authentic zero starting point? What would each of us be without this influence?
