The first image completed in the series of the large paintings. In Derek’s mind, Teresa Cornells was the 18th century David Bowie in that she was very influential in the culture, she influenced fashion, music and general tastes, through the events she organised from her exotic Night club in Soho  Square. She had a huge following  all over Europe including royalty.  Her events attracted red carpet crowds . Magazines and newspapers followed her ever changing ,large themed event interior staged designs.
