He focuses his attention on light as a necessary material for vision. In the centre of his work he puts the interest for three dimensional space and light, and he has developed a research on mental image and the essence of subjects.
"Mont Analogue" refers to the bizarre/allegorical novel by 20th Century French novelist Rene Daumal.
It details the discovery and climbing of a mountain that only exists/can be viewed from a particular point when the light reaches a certain angle.
Ozzola places the gold leaves depending on the texture he discovers on the slate, creating the mountain as the tale.
Canary refers to the Canary island and as according to the Japanese' Hynn: even a small rock will grow and became a mountain. Even in the little stone you have the energy of a mountain.
