Flight I & II (1960) is a wall relief sculpture cut from sheets of black acrylic plastic. Mirror-image naked female bodies arc through the air in a celebration of athleticism and beauty. Reminiscent of a Rorschach inkblot test, the symmetrical composition of the two figures also suggests a release of psychological pressure, or an electric charge between bodies.
