We are pleased to announce that the guest panel of Andrew Renton (collector and curator), Kirsty Ogg (director of Bloomberg New Contemporaries), and Tabish Khan (art critic) have nominated Philomène Amougou as the winner of the Spring/Summer 2020 Window Project.

In her creative process Amougou takes on the role of a scientific archaeologist, who digs into the Earths core, reconciling the creative and destructive forces. Regarding biology as a way to explore the evolution of form, the seed of her work evolves in hybridization. From drawing, painting, sculptural installation, performance and sound production to filmmaking, her work is interconnected in its own parallel mythological world that probes the dilemmas and traumas that shape our time.
